You might want to look at Licia, the Sanguine Storm for some of your black and red storm pieces. I don't think you will want to run all that much removal if you are going for a true storm win most games, but they seem good if you are just getting extra value off spells.

Marionette Master is exactly the kind of payoff I was looking for. I think when I build this it will be with Alesha, Who Smiles at Death so I can actually just cheat the marionette master (and other combo cards) out. All those others that have been mentioned may make a spot too

I have been mulling over the concept of mardu artifacts and was wondering if there is any real payoff to adding white and black to red artifacts (and if it can be done reasonably without adding blue). I feel like there should be something worth it since esper is so strong in artifacts.
I think it would be very strong with a graveyard strategy with artifact creatures.
Is it worth doing? Do you have any ideas for good payoff cards? Am I bull headed for wanting to try without blue for Breya, Etherium Shaper?

Also a bunch of cantrips would not be amiss in any kess deck. That way you can push through your deck til you get what you want or to one of your many tutors. Ponder, Preordain, Opt Faithless Looting, Anticipate, Peek, Serum Visions, Gitaxian Probe. You could also add in a few artifact cantrips for the tezz ult beatdown plan Ichor Wellspring, Elsewhere Flask, Tsabo's Web, Aether Spellbomb, Nihil Spellbomb.
Increasing Ambition and Increasing Vengeance also work really well with kess due to the fact that she can cheat the flashback cost and you still get the extra benefit you normally get from flashing them back.

Tezzeret the Seeker so you can grab all your artifact combo pieces. Then you could add in a buttload of mana rocks and the artifact lands to use him for ramp. He also works well with many of your current artifacts.

It is not that standard is slower by any means. Standard has less options for absurdly powerful cards. You have (almost) all of the best cards ever printed as options in commander compared to only the most recent sets cards in standard. Standard usually has little bearing on what will be good in commander.
In my experience a gideon might get to swing once and then someone will just attack it or redirect damage to it... or just chump block all day. There are so many ways to get rid of gideon, and most decks have ample amounts of those ways.

I personally don't think most of the gideons are worth it in edh. In my opinion they are about the same as an indestructible vanilla creature that your opponents choose when you have to sacrifice it. You will have good enough beaters with your angels.
One card that you will for sure want in there is doubling season because your walkers enter the battlefield with double the counters on them.

You probably already realize this, but cards from un-sets like B-I-N-G-O are not actually commander legal. If your playgroup is cool with it though no need to change.

You seem very set on it. Just do it. Try it in a few games and try it without in a few. We are basically just speculating, so you go ahead and get the raw data on whether it works or not

Looks like you need Conspiracy, naming literally anything but thrulls. I would also suggest replacing some of your non-creature spells with more creature spells so you can get more thrulls from your commander.

I think what one of ryjo's biggest points is... what are you taking out of the deck that is worse in the deck than steppe lynx?
(Forgive me if I am misinterpreting you ryjo)

You don't need a basic mountain if you are only worried about Blood Moon as your non basics turn into basic mountains. I would either switch it for a utility land or an island or plains.

Saffi Eriksdotter goes inf with Sun Titan, Karmic Guide, or Reveillark and a sac outlet. It also works well with your general strategy by allowing you to save your best creatures and reuse the etb on creatures that your opponents try to kill. Or just reuse a creature after sacing it to pod.
Speaking of guide and sun titan, Fiend Hunter not only is a nice bit of removal on a creature (and with a little luck and know how it is permanently exiling) , but it goes inf with guide/titan and a sac outlet.
There is some tech that karador decks commonly use to guide/rev combo more consistently in Boonweaver Giant and Pattern of Rebirth (it can snag entire combo in 1 turn). Now that Protean Hulk is legal, it does the same thing.
Lastly, I think you would be better off in 5 color for 1 drop free sac outlets like Viscera Seer and Carrion Feeder so you can guide/rev combo more reliably. I think Child of Alara would be best if you follow this last bit.
I realize the guide/rev combo is not your deck's focus, but it just fits so well with your kiki pod stuff that I thought more of it's pieces ought be suggested.

This is an outsider's perspective as I don't really play the modern format, but I would say it is not worth it to splash white for the hollow one deck. Part of what makes the Flameblade Adept stong is the fact that the deck is discarding regardless and it is in the colors of the deck already. Splashing white for this one card basically just gives you a decent card for the trade off of a slightly less stable mana base.

I could see either izzet or simic manipulating the gruul into test subjects.

With the alliance between Teysa and Tajic in the return to ravnica block, I was wondering what people think the likelyhood of at some point in the new block seeing mardu colored cards is.
Are there any other combinations of guilds that seem likely if the orzhov and boros aren't the only ones that team up?
Also, do you think there is any chance of nephilim?

Interesting use of my favorite commander. I had always imagined Ghave, Guru of Spores would be the best abzan enchantress deck due to the fact that he combos so well with powerful enchantments like Doubling Season and Anointed Procession plus the fact that you have built in blockers. That is a tangent though, my main point here is that I like the way you went with this. +1

Animate Dead, Exhume, Footsteps of the Goryo, Necromancy, Reanimate, Unearth, Death, and Victimize are all the type of cards necessary for a reanimator build so you can bring back your best card from the graveyard. You would also need plenty of ways to put cards into your yard. Like shadow63 said, Grislebrand is the number one card to reanimate.... but there are other awesome options like Massacre Wurm and It That Betrays, but those are still a bit pricey. As are the best reanimator spells. That is why I would suggest going more midrange for you

Sundering Titan, Cruel Reality, Meren of Clan Nel Toth, and Champion of Stray Souls could all go in my opinion. Probably Butcher of Malakir could go also. It will just be dead in hand most of the time. For any cards you go below 60 after getting rid of any of those cards, you should get something that you can actually play on turn 1 (or less preferably 2)
