My friends here are running hive mind decks with pact of negation, slaughter pact, etc... You play the hive mind and play a pact and then end turn. Your opponent loses if they can't pay the upkeep.

I started thinking that way but if you play it against the hot decks in standard while you're trying to ramp you will get rolled. Decreasing the power of the tokens helps much more and you will ramp fast enough off the knights. You will always be a land behind because you bounce them for the borderposts.
