love the deck, but have you thought about a Clock of Omens, with the Static Orb and/or Winter Orb combo? the Clock of Omens untaps whatever you need whenever you need to and keeps the Static Orb from hurting you.

you need 30 more cards to make it edh, have to be 100 count.

not a terrible start, but you need more instants to counter with and some mono blue staples like High Tide, futuresight, Arcanis the Omnipotent, Roil Elemental, Temporal Adept, Empress Galina, Isochron Scepter and such like that.

plus if you want to use so many big creatures, you might want like Caged Sun to get more mana, having so many big beater creatures is a little redundant though.... either Lorthos, the Tidemaker, or Artisan of Kozilek should win you the game by themselves.

you should definitely take out the Sphinx of Jwar Isle and replace it with a Inkwell Leviathan.

and yea, just try more counterspells like Mana Drain, Disallow, etc.

you also probably want a Baral, Chief of Compliance to round out your creatures. maybe even as your Commander.

somewhere between 34-37 lands will get you done in a 100 card deck. have fun and keep slinging.

Said on 119 Valakut...

way too many cards and too many goals and strategies. plus Madcap Experiment will kill you most of the time... you only have one artifact in the whole deck, and no way to put it on top of your library.

why have 4 Baral, Chief of Compliance if you have zero counterspells besides Remand, which isnt very good because they can just play whatever you counter next turn.... why not use actual Counterspells?

Bring to Light can only fetch a small fraction of your creatures, and you have no mechanics for putting Platinum Emperion on top of your deck to get it with Madcap Experiment

if your goal is to use Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle, why did you make a 119 count, 5 color deck and only include like 9 mountains in the whole thing? plus then you have nothing to search for valakut except the Scapeshifts.... so...

no offense, but honestly ive never seen a modern deck that had over 70 cards in it win a single match ever, in like 15 years of playing. if you dont have any cards to help you draw faster, you wont get anything you need. plus Bring to Light actually cant get Platinum Emperion or Traumatize, or anything else basically except for the Goblin Electromancer...

Fatal Push isnt going to kill jack, and why would you even need it with the Path to Exiles and Lightning Bolts? you really dont need it at all.

plus you have so many lands and so many fetch lands, but no landfall effects or any way to replay them.... and again, you only have like 9 lands total in the whole thing that can even set off Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle.

focus your aim a little more and reduce your count to 60, just my advice.

you're right of course. I took it (Black Market) out at first to stay at 60, and because i figured i had plenty of mana, but on second thought it does add so much power there's no reason not to use it. thanks for straightening that out.
