Hey guys,

I made a LOT of changes after getting some cards in. If you have time, can you take a look and let me know your thoughts. I got to play a guy at the local shop yesterday, and I devastated him.

Thanks!

I usually have no problem spending money on good staples that can be used multiple decks. $5-$10 cards don't bother me, but I draw the line if I have to spend a ton of money for a card that has limited use. I have a few other decks that the LED will sit nicely with so I decided that now was the time to pull the trigger. Plus it's a reserved list card, so I doubt the price will ever go down should I want/need to sell it someday.

Thanks guys. I just picked up $415 worth of some of your recommended cards. They should be here by the end of the week and ready for the fellas at my local shop this weekend. I’ll do some play testing and let you know if I have any questions!

I am actually halfway through your description and you are correct, this is exactly what I'm going for. I have a lot of flashy instants and guess I was showboating a bit. Being able to recur something that does the same thing as an instant (albeit for more mana) is more important; point taken.

On this note, I did notice 1 card that was excluded on your decklist that kind of surprised me- Elvish Piper . Don't get me wrong, I've only played this deck 1 time so far against a person and have playtested it more than a few times. The Piper seems AMAZING at casting stuff out of your hand on the cheap. Your thoughts.

I will probably be picking up the Lion's Eye next week from a guy I know that wants to sell it. The intuition will probably be in the next bulk order I make for this deck. (God- I said I would stop doing this like 7 decks ago)..... I'm sure you know the feeling too since you seem to have some nice paper as well.

Hey bud,

Thanks for taking the time and give me some pointers. First, I wanted to give you a little background on the deck- there basically is none. My local shop owner has a toolbox Atraxa deck that consistently blows my mind on how well it does; he doesn't have a clear engine, interaction, or path. He just has answers for everything. The only way I can beat the guy is to play my Tier 1 Captain Sisay deck. It's a combo deck, and it's not always fun to win with a 3/5 turn combo deck.

I started by scouring my cards at home in an attempt to have a recursion-based toolbox. Muldrotha fit the bill. I did look at a few others, but believed she would be the most FUN.

These were some great tips and I will digest them well and take a look at your deck. I'm a newer player that has money to buy great cards, but I am working on the depth of knowledge part that many of you all seem to have.

Also, I thought that the Liliana of the Veil would be excellent. Being able to discard a permanent and also making my opponent discard as well is a very big advantage in my favor. Thoughts?

Have a good one!
