Deckling -

Playing since I started in high school waaaay back in 2005, with a modest collection building up since the first deck I bought: a W/G life gain deck from Saviors. When Ravnica came out I soon identified with Gruul and Simic, and soon grew fond of anything green. I avoided black, though. Can't figure out why. I started appreciating and using black around the Scars of Mirrodin / New Phyrexia era. Now, I love all sorts of decks and strategies. I mostly identify with the Johnny--and a little Timmy--psychographics. My favorite competitive play I enjoy the most are prereleases (since about Innistrad). Even more recently I've gotten interested in Standard but still don't have a bunch of experience with it yet. After playing casual for so long, I've gotta catch up with all the archetypes and jargon. Figured here would be a good place to start.
