This is certainly a long-build project, make no mistake. I'd like to get it as efficient as possible for under $100 - Considering I own all the non-basic lands listed here, it might be easier than I thought.

I agree with you about Elvish Piper aeonstoremyliver -- Most of my creatures are under 4 mana anyway, so why pay 4 to pay 1 to cast them when I can do it anyway without?

Trying to avoid having to spend a lot on this deck, and with the speed I've gained with it, I can avoid having to sell a kidney for anything more like Birds of Paradise

I hadn't even considered Wall of Denial ! Adding that straight off.

Same with Utopia Sprawl - I always tend to avoid it as the wording confused me, but as is my understand you get the 2 mana for it being tapped. In such a case, I could also remove the basic plains and islands to add more forests. Yes, Sol Ring is expensive. Sue me :P

Shock lands are so expensive now, especially Temple Garden I was trying to avoid using them... Fetch lands though is another thing, will look into that. the Signets though... A good plan either way.

I enjoy Giltspire Avenger too much to completely remove him, especially considering the tri-colour advantage (Then again, Rhox War Monk ...) but since you're suggesting to drop stuff like the pilgrims anyway, I'd have room for an Elvish Piper or 3, wouldn't I? Or would that be a bad move considering the CMC?

My major problem with Harrow is that I run a fair number of non-basic lands. Harrow doesn't let me get those out, it's trading one forest for two. While useful, it doesn't help extend my mana base. Farseek is a better idea, but still slow, and would only be able to get an island or a plain.

I don't really get why I'd want to remove all of my plains and the like for Harrow as it can only pull out basic lands anyway, unless I use Knight of the Reliquary to sac the forests it pulls out anyway.

And I have 2 Chromatic Lantern somewhere... I think. I don't want this to end up as a massive money-sink unless I can't avoid it.

I hadn't considered Knight of the Reliquary before, but it might just work. Noble Hierarch is way beyond what I'm will to spend on a card... I'll add the knight to the maybeboard, thanks man.
