Thanks Argy, I try to remain calm with people, especially in situations where I am trying to explain something, because I don't always converse in the most effective manner. And I've learned from experience that yelling and slinging insults only makes things worse, and makes others lose respect for me and my opinion.

You are taking a lot of shit from someone for correctly pointing out that Ixalan cards aren't currently Standard legal.
Just wanted to let you know that I have noticed it, thinks it's disgusting, and am trying to back you up.
You are conducting yourself with great restraint in that thread, and it is very commendable.
I rarely add people as friends but you have made the grade.

Standard is rotating soon, so you'll need to find replacements for Clip Wings and Galvanic Bombardment. Crushing Canopy seems like a good replacement for Clip Wings. Galvanic Bombardment is harder to replace, but Shock, Magma Spray, or Lightning Strike are probably the best options available. Other than that, this deck is looking very good.

Did you try tagging it as a promo?

Because is simple and straight forward. I don't need to worry about when to use a counter or when to use a kill spell, all I care about is playing big creatures and turning them sideways. on occasion gets sweet cards like Thrun, the Last Troll, Prowling Serpopard, and Carnage Tyrant that invalidate a lot of what the grixis colors do. My two favorite creature types: dinosaurs and werewolves, are in .

It's on the right side of the screen below all of the charts and the various buying buttons. If you ctrl+f CMC, you should be able to find it.

Kizmetto, yeah, people see Deathgorge Scavenger and think of it as just a 3/2 for 3, but it's very versatile and useful against a variety of cards and strategies. It also has the potential to be a 4/3 that can grow to a 5/4.
kmach1ne, you make some very good points. Earlier in my testing (before Commune was spoiled), I was running Attune with Aether, Aether Hub, and Harnessed Lightning, which was giving me some great mana fixing via the hub, and after dropping the Lightning for Abrade, I found it to still be pretty good. I'll have to do some additional testing to see how Commune with Dinosaurs does versus Attune with Aether. I've actually been misreading Commune, I thought it only looked for basics, so it will most likely be going into the deck in some fashion. I tried finding a spot for Savage Stomp, but it felt like a win-more card, and I only have the one card with Enrage. The combination of Abrade and Cast Out are both useful if I'm behind, and can help out against non-creature permanents. The problem I have with putting Harnessed Lightning back into the deck, is that it forms a non-bo with the Solemnity in the sideboard. Aether Hub and Attune with Aether I think might still be fine mainboard, since the Hub can come down before Solemnity and Attune does what I need it to do without . My plan for fighting Ripjaw Raptors is to either have my own Raptor out (boosted by a Metallic Mimic hopefully), block it with other creatures, or cast it out. Ixalan's Binding may make it in as a 1-of, replacing a Cast Out, but I currently value the Flash of Cast Out more highly than the Meddling Mage rider on Ixalan's Binding.

I'm going to say 'no', since Phantasmal Bear's ability doesn't target anything.
September 22, 2017 9:45 p.m.
I'm going to miss Stasis Snare the most. It could hit just about any creature, could remove creatures with indestructible, and the flash was just icing on the cake. Being able to snare Ormendahl, Profane Prince Flip after flipping was so satisfying.

Since this deck is now tagged as both Dimir and Vehicles, I would be remiss if I did not suggest Scrapheap Scrounger, as it's easy to cast, you can easily cast it from the graveyard, it's resilient, and it can crew any of your vehicles.
In your update, you mentioned potentially dropping down on lands. Frank Karsten wrote in an article (link syntax for outside sites doesn't work for me, but here's the URL: https://www.channelfireball.com/articles/how-many-lands-do-you-need-to-consistently-hit-your-land-drops/) that the amount of lands in a deck should be approximately 16 + (3.14 * Average CMC of the deck), so 24 seems to be the correct number, though draw spells can reduce the number of lands needed. I think you should be able to shave 1, maybe 2 lands and still be in good shape.

The thread is here Official Missing/Incorrect Card/Token Thread.
Try using this syntax
for now. It seems to work: Repeating Barrage. Sometimes cards in the new set take a few days to show the image without tagging the set as well.

I could see Field of Ruin edging out Tectonic Edge in modern because it doesn't restrict when you can use it, but Ghost Quarter not requiring mana and hitting any land makes it more versatile and less likely to be replaced.

Why thank you, I spent a lot of time thinking of the names for the categories before finally settling on the ones I did.

I see a few cards in your list that will rotate out when Ixalan rotates in. Cinder Glade and Game Trail rotate out, so you will probably want to switch them out with Sheltered Thicket and Rootbound Crag. Aim High is also rotating out, Gift of Strength might be a suitable replacement. Avacyn's Judgment also leaves, so you could replace it with Shock since it domes your opponent the same. Arlinn Kord is going to be hard to replace, but maybe Samut, the Tested would work.
I like the deck, but I think a few of your cards are working against your burn theme.I don't think you'll be able to flip Growing Rites of Itlimoc with only 9 creatures in your deck, and Makeshift Munitions doesn't have enough creatures/artifacts to consistently be of use, and even when you have it and creatures, you lose out on damage by sacrificing your creatures. I think adding in Rampaging Ferocidon and filling out your Ranging Raptors would be a better use of those 6 slots. And while Bonded Horncrest seems good as a 5/5 for 4, Ripjaw Raptor will probably be of more use to your deck.

The DFCs take up the rare slot in the pack since there are only 10 of them.

I think a Vampire go wide deck that curves into Mavren Fein, Dusk Apostle, Sanctum Seeker, Bishop of the Bloodstained could be pretty good. Add in Queen's Commission ( Sorcery that creates 2 1/1 Vampire tokens), Call to the Feast ( Sorcery that creates 3 1/1 Vampires), and Legion's Landing, and you may have something.

The battle on Tarkir was also before Bolas absorbed the Maelstrom, so Bolas' power is much greater than it was when they were equals on Tarkir. Bolas has also been gathering 'allies', while Ugin has lost (at least temorarily) his 2 closest allies in Sorin an Nahiri, not to mention the fact that he and the Gatewatch were not really on good terms. So in a fight of Ugin vs Bolas, it seems like Ugin might be alone, unless he has allies we don't know about, and either way, it seems like Bolas would win. But I don't want to count Ugin out, while Bolas was spreading his plans across the multiverse, Ugin had to have been doing something to prepare for the inevitable confrontation with Bolas.
September 16, 2017 1:49 p.m.
Yeah, we haven't heard anything about Ugin in a while, but the person at
seems to think that Ugin has something to to with Ixalan. (Link syntax is broken for me.) Also, the mind Jace remembered before he planeswalked to Ixalan was described similarly to Ugin's.

As for your sideboard, I would think Sweltering Suns would be a good consideration, especially for match-ups against aggro and go wide strategies. Enchantment hate might be good if the flip enchantments prove popular, and it could save one of your creatures from an opposing Cast Out. Deathgorge Scavenger or Ravenous Daggertooth are good inclusions for use against Ramunap Red. Sentinel Totem is very useful against any deck seeking to use the graveyards (God-Pharaoh's Gifts decks, Torrential Gearhulk control, The Scarab God. Other than that, filling out your sideboard with more Cast Outs, Abrades and the like would also be worth considering.
