I run G/B Modern Elves (Elf Party) and Joraga Warcaller is great - I used to run him, but you miss the kicker when you hit him with CoCo or Stampede. I would suggest trying to drop to 1 of, removing him entirely, or maybe finding space for 1 in sideboard for grindy-er match-ups. Also Copperhorn Scout is one elf I've experimented with in the past that you may want to try out. Do your mana tapping M1 and then get them all untapped when you move to combat with her - I think it is an undervalued card in elf builds, especially a mono-green build that is almost entirely creatures. I'm sure you've also seen Nettle Sentinel all over the place, as it's in the same vein as Talara's Battalion, and either would be good to try in place of Joraga. Anywho, nice mono-green build. +1

I don't know why I didn't include Miasmic Mummy in my build, I have at least one from AKH packs I've gotten. One card I would suggest adding that I can tell you right off the bat will be great is Skullclamp, whether it's Elf Warrior tokens or Saproling tokens, assuming they aren't buffed by something then you have one of the dumbest ways I know of to draw cards lol. Pay 1 and Equip, kill token, draw 2, rinse and repeat. You may already know how stupid it is with token decks but it's one card I can suggest without hesitation.

Nice! I'll check out your deck soon. And yeah idk I guess I'm just not paying attention to my cards xD
I should add a few more lands for sure, and I need more mana rocks - I played a slightly altered version of this deck today (cus I'm still missing about a quarter of the deck as it is built here) and so far it plays very slow the first 5-8 turns, and by that I mean more slow than my friend's or my other EDH decks. Obviously getting Nath out is crucial to a lot of the plays but unless I get a great hand with some elves to get some board state going early then there really isn't much to do. I can play discard spells before Nath comes out if I need to, but it just hurts to do that lol.

Thanks, Agnos! I think I'm at 33 right now more because the deck isn't play-tested yet. Also I'm really only playing commander casually with friends so having the fastest mana ramp possible isn't too much of a concern especially when fetch lands are out of my budget to get for every deck that I'd want. And good catch, I just goofed on that Novijen lol. I should really put Nephalia Academy in its place, good for commander in general but also specifically for the couple of my own discard spells that hit everyone including me.

Thanks PickleNutz. Unfortunately Deathrite is banned in modern. That Arrows + Glissa combo is definitely neat though. It would be cool to see an elf deck incorporate play-sets of those as a means to clear out creatures. In this deck I'm afraid there just isn't room though - Arrows can't be fetched by CoCo or Chord, so multiples if not 4x would probably be needed to hit it reliably. And Glissa is certainly strong on her own, but gives no synergy, and as cool as the removal trick is it does nothing for hitting life total or anything non-creature. As I've been finding out, Modern really comes down to how fast you overpower the board or hit a win con. But thanks for the suggestions! I'm currently building a Nath of the Gilt-Leaf commander deck (Nath of the Kilt-Thief), maybe I can find room to throw those two in there ;)
