Deckling -

After playing in the 1990s (ice age through Urza), I'm back 15 years later and traded a play set of TronLands for the basis of a Temur deck. Play testing has gone quite well, but it's a bit jack-of-all-trades feeling. A bit more block has done me well, but I haven't drafted yet. It was only starting to become a Gino when I played in the 90s! Tempest (Rath) block was the last one I really spent much time in.

At the FRF prerelease, I dragged my wife (taught her to play back in December), and we did 2 headed giant. I built 2 decks in 10 minutes, one Mardu mass agro, and a Jeskai control/utility, and we tied for first place 3-1.

So I'm grateful for a hobby, and getting back into it feels like rejoining a high school garage band.
