Next up, maybe try the reverse of this challenge? Make a creature card for a planeswalker who's never appeared as a creature before.

Fuming Fiend-Wolf

Creature - Wolf Devil

Devour 2

Undying

Unearth

2/2

Though it appears fairly simple, I think this is an interesting card! It can eat creatures to get bigger, at the cost of giving up its undying option. But it can still be unearthed from the graveyard, to have another chance to eat stuff and swing in for one huge attack. I also think it could have cool flavor, I could see this thing on Innistrad.

I'm interested in that last suggestion, so maybe whoever's next would like to make an artifact zombie?

ApeKindaBaked No worries! This deck would be most likely listed under casual, the formats are defined by deckbuilding restrictions, but this one seems to have been made for fun without those restrictions in mind.

Standard is a format that only allows cards from the newest bunch of sets and constantly rotates cards in and out. I'm not a fan of standard personally, since I don't like the feeling of building decks only to have them obsolete in a year or two. Lots of people do like the format though.

There's lots of other formats, but they're only really defined by what cards you can play and don't really matter unless others play them as well. Playing casually with friends using less competitive but more creative decks is often more fun anyway.

I do recommend checking out the Commander format, though. It's different than most, and although it has a lot of strange rules, it's easily one of the most interesting ways to play the game.

Interesting and thematic deck! The King/Elixir combo is really cool.

I think it shouldn't be listed under the "standard" category though, the vast majority of the deck isn't standard legal.

I think a name like "Twilight Return" might be good for your W/B zombify!

I have an idea or two myself, maybe I'll give a try.

Phyrexian Bloodpriest

Creature - Human Cleric

When Phyrexian Bloodpriest enters the battlefield, choose one --

2/1

Combination of Priest of Gix and Priest of Urabrask. Probably off-color to do this now that I think about it haha, green's the only one that's supposed to add other colors. Ah well, would be an interesting card regardless.

Lachae, Titan of Eternity's Grip

Legendary Creature - Elder Giant

Whenever Lachae enters the battlefield or attacks, you may exile target permanent until Lachae leaves the battlefield.

When Lachae enters the battlefield, sacrifice it unless it escaped.

Escape__-, exile five other cards from your graveyard.

6/6

The titans of Theros are really cool, and that was my idea of a new one! I liked the idea that it can blink your own stuff when cast normally, but can serve as repeatable removal when escaped. Lots of cool ways to take these monsters, hope we see more of them in the near future.

Next person, maybe you'd like to continue the cycle? (the remaining ones are Gruul and Azorius colored)

If not, feel free to do whatever design you like, just have fun with it!
