Hey, what's up guys. I'm a modern and edh player who started MTG at a summer camp around the time of M14 release. In the camp, they sold 30-card starter decks with only Zendikar, Rise of the Eldrazi, Worldwake, and M11 commons and uncommons, (Hedron Crab and Forked Bolt were the only cards that were actually nice.) My first pack was Mirrodin Besieged, and my first rare was Myr Welder. In my second pack however, I immediately pulled a (still kinda playable) mythic, Keranos. I'm used to be a Johnny/Spike player, but recently, I found that I wasn't very competitive, I just loved fun cards and fun combos. I love combos: the more combos my deck can have, the better, but I also want them to do somewhat well. I also love alternate ways to win - Go Hedron Alignment! Whenever a new controversial card is spoiled, take Dubious Challenge, I look for ways to combo with it/break it. I am an artist, and one of the reasons I love MTG so much is because of it's awesome art. I especially love artifacts, as I do not like drawing people (those faces ugh).
Favorite Card: Triskaidekaphobia Just what... Love the design, so much flavor.

UB has a lot of troll stuff, including one of my favorite strategies: Mill
My favorite deck I came up with, The Combo Engine (T2 Kill) is also used to be in Dimir. (Now it's esper).

Ok, hear me out, it might seem like it's because of the new "inventions", and it is, but not for the reason you think. As I previously mentioned, I am an artist, and I really admire the new masterpiece art. Take the new Mox Opal for example. I love all these twisty pieces metal, this set is amazing!!!!
I mainly use this website for jotting my deck ideas down and playtesting them. Right now I'm working on buying/trading for my modern creation, The Combo Engine (T2 Kill), and my EDH deck, The More the Better - Scarab God Creature Control
