A red deck without the best red card ever printed (Lightning Bolt)?

Kolaghan's Command seems to fit in this deck (1 or 2 copies perhaps)?

Loam Lion is better then most 1-drops you use in this deck (it is basically a Kird Ape ). I would drop Scythe Tiger, at first he might seem like a good card, but saccing the land is a really high cost (It would have been better if he just cost 2, because you can keep the land in that situation, now it's just gone). Also, you play 22 land, and without any form of mana acceleration (Birds of Paradise, Noble Hierarch,...) and 3x a creature that destroys your own land, you will never be able to play a Regal Caracal.

Completely overlooked Birds of Paradise, excuse me! That card is perfect for souls of course :D

I would suggest adding 4x Path to Exile, you'll need the removal in modern if you want to outlast your opponent. Blessed Alliance is an option too (life gain can help you survive longer). Most players put all the effort in tokens and spells that buff up your tokens, but they forget that tokens is actually a control deck, and removal is necessary to control the board.
Lingering souls is awesome, but without a swamp, you really miss out on the essence of that card. What you can do, but this is costly, is add a playset of fetches, 4x Windswept Heath, and play 1x Overgrown Tomb. You can fetch tomb with a Windswept Heath and then you can use it to pay for the flashback cost of Lingering Souls. You can go cheaper and just play 4x Spectral Procession instead (souls is 4 tokens for 5 mana, procession is 3 tokens for 3 mana if you use 3 plains to pay the cost)
If you are not on a budget, I also have some suggestions for updating your manabase. The 4 Windswept Heath I mentioned above are just great in general, but if you add them, it would be better if you also add 4x Temple Garden.
Someone already mentioned Brimaz, King of Oreskos. That card is a great token spawner and it will survive a common threat in modern: Lightning Bolt. Definitely try that one out and you'll see how good it is at creating an army of tokens. This has to do with the fact that he has vigilance, because it gives you a token in your turn if you attack with Brimaz and a token in your opponents next turn when you block with Brimaz.
Last card I would suggest is Secure the Wastes. Great card that sees some play in the more common Orzhov-token builds.

Don't know if you are a bit on a budget, but most hatebear decks play 4x Aether Vial. That card allows you to play your bears at instant speed and saves yours mana.
