When I was 9, I stumbled upon the Monoblack core set for M10 at my local hobby shop. I saw the foil art for Nightmare and knew right away: I had to be part of whatever this was. My first deck was monoblack, then I moved on to Izzet during Guildpact. Initially, I loved the feeling of being three steps ahead of anyone, but after a while, it just wasn't fun for me anymore. Once the summer ended, I stopped for almost 4 years.

About a year ago, I was lucky enough to start again with Return to Ravnica. I fell in love with the Boros. There was some fun to be had in unpredictability and chaos. I liked how I could get out the gate and end it all by turn 4. Occasionally, I also dabble in Mono-White just 'cause.
