My friends and I are making a cube. My job is the make the proxies for the cards that are too expensive or hard to find. I have MSE, but i have been unable to find suitable duel land art. Could you please do me a favour by sending me via T/O wall comments the links to the full size pictures? I've already found the tundra but i'm having difficulty finding good suitable digital art for the other duel lands. Thanks.

For me if i play a 12-20 land deck i get the perfect mana base but if i do 24 for some reason i never get the land out. I tend to prefer less lands and it generally works for me.

If you use Howling Mine instead you can chose whether or not you want your opponent to draw more cards and thus giving you a better advantage and you can also get it out sooner.

Thank you so much honeymomo. Call me Lum. Someone today saw it and wants one, it'll be my first commissioned altered art, kinda excited. Apparently, acrylic paints are the best as they are thin but still add enough colour. I prefer using gouche paints as it reactives when wet, so less paint wastage and i can continue at a later time using the same colour palette without having do do another batch of colours to match the card. Also, its easier to fix mistakes as you can just wash it off and start again. As long as you spray it with a fixative or spray finish it'll be fine. I might just do that but at the moment i'd like to gain experience and do it more as a hobby that a source of income, but i'd love to do that one day.

Thanks. I'm currently working on Oblivion Ring from Lorwyn. If you have any suggestions for cards that I should attempt to alter, i'll try to give it a go as long as its within my price range.

This forum is all about altering MTG cards for the benefit of MTG fans. Altering cards is all about improving or individualizing the look or art of the card. Im a fan of extentions and borderless alterations but I think if you completely alter the art you ruin the card and its uses.
Altered card/s can be legal in tournaments as long as they comply with this rule: Cards used in a tournament may not have writing on their faces other than signatures or artistic modifications. Modifications may not obscure the artwork so as to make the card unrecognizable. If modifications to a card are deemed by the Head Judge to constitute outside notes or unsporting conduct, the player using such cards will be subject to the appropriate provisions of the DCI Penalty Guidelines
Also keep in mind if the card is also too thick with paint it would be the equivalent of a marked slip.
As an example, here are the few Ive done which look far more impressive in person.

I firstly erase the areas I wish to paint over then I use gouche paints to alter and then use a spray fixative so the paint cant be scratched or damaged.
Id be interested to see if any fellow tappedout users are also altering MTG artists. Feel free to leave comments are questions. Ill post more of the alterations either here or on my profile.
