I'm moderately new to Magic: The Gathering, I started playing Magic around the Theros block, but all of my starting cards were passed down by my father, who played in high-school, most of his cards were from much older sets, like Urza's Saga and Tempest. I only play Commander and Modern, as Standard changes and I really don't like spending tons of money to keep up to date with that.
