mtg, mtg cards, magic the gathering, gaming, geeks
I'm Jay. I don't really have a favorite color, but Black and White together are the best combination, especially with a third color. I rarely play monocolored decks, and almost always include Black, White, or both. If not then it's usually a foreign concept to me.
My favorite card ever is Souls of the Faultless . My favorite art has to go to Retether . My favorite planeswalker is Sorin, Lord of Innistrad . I also really like spells like Oust and Condemn , and Mortify and Oblivion Ring are my preferred removal. Extort is my favorite mechanic.
I like to play powerful decks, but usually get bored with them and make something fun. I frequently delete the decks I'm done with for organization.
I build, on average, at least one deck a day. Few ever make it into reality. They are almost always below $100 if they aren't standard, because I'm 15 and unemployed.
Currently I'm running as follows:
EDH: When a Good Man goes to War.
Standard: Junk Midrange (FNM Results!).
Casual: Mack the Knife.
I've been meaning to get into Legacy and Modern as well, so if I do I'll probably be making these:
Legacy: We're all mad here!
Modern: Tron Cat
Here's a custom planeswalker mock-up of me, courtesy of our dear friend Xindlepete.

so counter reanimation edh?
Nah it's still good value. Plus that's only for generals.
i was not actually offended, just kinda a slap to the face for your EDH deck.
Well excuse me for not remembering the exact ruling, jeez.
"If a Commander would be put into a graveyard or exile from anywhere, its owner may choose to move it to the command zone instead."
...........fuck you.
I just realized I used the wrong form of "knew."
I am officially one of the people I hate.
Haha! Looks great buddy! And thanks for the shout-out- always nice to be appreciated for good work. :)
Glorious! It worked!
Yea I tried some old html tricks I new but some of the syntax different and I'm wayyy outta practice so I just figured I'd save myself the hassle of trying to look up a tutorial. Much obliged, sir. Much obliged.
Thanks! I'll put it on as soon as I get the chance.
My bad! Just forget that first set of instructions I gave you; I forgot that photobucket already includes the HTML bracketing in the HTML code. FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS INSTEAD:
Get the HTML code on the photobucket page. It's on the right-hand side of the page, there's a box labeled "Image Links". The third one down is the HTML code. Just click on the bubble the code is displayed in, and it will automatically copy it to your clipboard. Then come back to TappedOut, and on your settings page in your "Profile Text" box, just right-click and paste. It will just look like a bunch of programming gibberish on the settings page, but it should show up as the actual photo on your page.
And I'm glad you enjoy it so much! Positive feedback is always nice. :) I figured that the +2 ability could be used to either net yourself a little bit of life gain if you needed it (since most of your creatures have a higher toughness than power); or you could exile a threatening creature your opponent controls, causing them to lose life before your combat phase, in order to help you get them in the lethal range.
The -3 is just Zealous Persecution , but come on that card is AMAZING!!! :D And that's part of why he only comes out with two counters- being able to stack that effect with a Zealous Persecution would be a tad ridiculous, so at least this way you have to keep him alive for a turn to do it.
And the -8 involves tokens, life gain, and life loss. I'm sorry if the wording is a bit unclear, but I was trying to make so that you gain 2 life for every creature that was destroyed, and your opponents lose 2 life for every creature token you have left on the field after the board wipe. I figured because more creatures will be destroyed than creature tokens will remain that a huge upswing in life like that could help you last another couple turns, and the huge downswing in life for your opponent could be a win-con, or it could tip the scales in your favor enough to emerge victorious. Again, I'm glad you enjoy the card! :D

You need to put one of these: < at the front, and one of these: > at the end.
The blank line between the quotation marks gets replaced with the HTML code on the photobucket page. It's on the right-hand side of the page, there's a box labeled "Image Links". The third one down is the HTML code. Just click on the bubble the code is displayed in, and it will automatically copy it to your clipboard. Then come back to TappedOut, and highlight the blank between the quotation marks. IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU DO NOT DELETE THE QUOTATION MARKS. Then right click on the highlighted space, and paste your HTML code. It will just look like a bunch of programming gibberish on the settings page, but it should show up as the actual photo on your page.
Thanks man, this is sick. Good luck with the competition!
Hey there! Congrats on winning the first ever "Xindlepete Customs" Weekly drawing! :D Thanks for your participation, and I sincerely hope you enjoy your custom mock-up. Please give me any feedback on my wall, as I am always curious to hear what you have to say! Here is a link to the photobucket page, where you can access any link info you may need:

I'm working on a Junk Lifegain build right now actually. I'm turning my midrange (Junk Midrange (FNM Results!)) into this more life-oriented build: Death by Chocolate.
I feel like there are some cards in there that could really help this do better at your next FNM, if you go.
28 lands is wayyyy to high for almost any deck. I would suggest dropping down to 24. It seems like Vapor Snag might fit your theme here, also. Oh, and just as a rule of thumb, Dissipate is almost always better than Cancel .
This is a very fun deck with great theme. +1, good job
I would hardly say that. By turn 5, which is usually when decks start to pick up, you are wrath proof and a huge offensive force.
Although the rule of nine is a good starting point for deck building, there are times when it just isn't relevant. I've been finely tweaking this for a while now, so it's not a major issue. Thanks though!
Especially if you throw in Leonin Shikari
My favorite card is Souls of the Faultless . The ability, the flavor... just all of it. Even more deadly with Doran, the Siege Tower .
Favorite combo has to be Puresteel Paladin and Sunforger . Makes for some ridiculous toolbox decks.
If you guys could check out the ideas at the bottom of my FNM update, I'd appreciate feedback very much. And don't forget to upvote my deck so I can shame my friends if you like the build!
Dude, no fling?
Simply begging for Assemble the Legion

Most decks have some short of graveyard interaction, and fuck indestructible.
