I'm Jay. I help KrazyCaley with running the articles and such, so if he's ever busy and you need something to be posted, edited, or what-have-you post it on my wall and I'll do my part to get it done. I'm almost constantly on here, so it shouldn't be a problem.
White is my favorite color, particularly if matched up with Black. Together Black/White encompass my favorite things: Life gain/drain, reanimator, auras, and so forth. I rarely play monocolored decks, and almost always include at least one of the aforementioned colors. If not then it's usually a foreign concept to me.
Cards I like (in no order):
Sigarda, Host of Herons
Bruna, Light of Alabaster
Benediction of Moons
Oyobi, Who Split the Heavens
Angel of Flight Alabaster
Sorin, Lord of Innistrad
Angel of Despair
Iona, Shield of Emeria
Divinity of Pride
My favorite artist is Rebecca Guay, followed by Chippy, Terese Nielsen, Raymond Swanland, and Howard Lyon all tied for second. Lyon's art on Make a Wish is my all-time favorite, and I collect it. If we trade, feel welcome to throw one in for my collection! ;D
My prized card is my Foil Angel of Flight Alabaster , signed in silver pen by Howard Lyon. The foiling is amazing, and looks even better with the silver ink.
My favorite flavor text is from Wheel of Sun and Moon : "Every life ends, but life itself never does."
My favorite mechanic is Miracle (hence my love for Liliana Vess ), and I really hope they revisit it and make more actually playable Miracles.
I like to play powerful decks, but usually get bored with them and make something fun. I frequently delete the decks I'm done with for organization.
Currently I'm running as follows:
Legacy: Red Dead Redemption
First person to correctly identify movie/music/videogame/culture references on my deck titles wins a point. Current standings:

I think what I'll do is try to put my own list together in the next couple of days and see what cards overlap with your list, and see if we can work out a deal from there.
Hey man, thanks for the offer. I'll consider it and get back to you as soon as I've made a decision.
There are a couple of problems with that unfortunately. Firstly, as I mentioned on binder page, my Inquisition of Kozilek are currently involved in a trade, so they aren't available. Secondly, as i also mentioned on my binder, my Snapcaster Mage are only going for gross overtrades. Sadly, the deal you propose isn't possible for me.
Okay, no worries. Anyway, would you be willing to go ahead with the cards I offered, plus my Abrupt Decay ? Altered art for altered art, I guess.
Also, I don't suppose you have any full art Zendikar islands lying around anywhere do you?
How about I throw in my altered Abrupt Decay and we call it a deal?
Hey man, thanks for the email. Unfortunately, you didn't actually attach the photograph to the email... Could you please re-send it with the image? Cheers.
No, I forgot about that. Would you mind sending me a picture just so that I can see what it looks like?
If you take the overall value of the deck ($323.32) and subtract the sideboard ($31.76), 2 Azusa, Lost but Seeking ($45.98), 4 Primeval Titan ($76.76) and Garruk Wildspeaker ($6.84), you end up with $161.84. I propose the following trade:
Is that okay with you?
Interested in your Amulet deck. Look at my trades and let em know if I can trade for it. I really only want the Primeval Titan s and the Azusa but let me know
no problem. everything went smoothly. He's a good trader. I cant vouch, but i posted his name in my binder description as i do for all good traders.
Well, doesn't everybody wish that they had a Bitterblossom . Funnily enough, i just bought 2 Plateau for $30 each (really good deal), and Bitterblossom is worth more. Is there a problem with that in anyway?
For that point system; i think that the zoo name is easy enough. Anyways, are you excited that Bitterblossom has actually stayed unbanned for 10 days?
Undeveloped/less good =/= bad
I'm not going to any GPs with it, it's for personal use and (strangely) fun.
The way I see it, someone has to make the netdecks first. If the guy making POD stopped trying the first time someone said his deck was bad we'd have a different metagame. I see potential here, and I'm willing to keep working on it although you might disagree.
Thanks for your input.
I understand why the Jund build is good, but my goal here is to make Living End that isn't Jund, because I dislike the color scheme and have none of the lands.
Transmute is the best option I have really, unless I use an Idyllic Tutor package. That would sort of detract from the deck though.
So I've been brewing and studying for weeks if not months to find a new Modern deck, and I think tonight I built a winner-
It's an Esper spin on Living End . Obviously, there are some budget constraints (no fetches, namely), but I'm a big fan personally.
Some basic pros/cons over the Jund version:
-Wider variety of cyclers
-Obviously, less expected!
-Creatures are smaller :/
-One less Cascader (made up for with transmute)
