Also, consider Supreme Will for one of your counters. The flexibility is really nice. It has been preforming really well, even showing up as a one of in some modern control decks.

scapegoat_tom I would replace the Wildfire Eternal because he doesn't really help you cast the spells you want in this deck. Most of your high casting cost spells have X in them and just fizzle if you try or are come for of counter spell that needs an enemy spell on the stack to work. Otherwise you are getting to play a cheap card for free and it doesn't feel nearly as worth it.

It doesn't say it, but I am assuming this deck is budget. I actually love the idea a lot. To sure it up a little more I would run some modern staple spells. They help protect you overall. Like, Path to Exile and Thoughtseize. Both of which help protect you from late game. Your creatures do well to protect you, especially early, so normally I would say Fatal Push and Inquisition of Kozilek, but they are best in the early game and you don't seem to need help there. I feel like you need some kind of mainboard disruption, hate, or removal to protect your deck if you want to be really successful. Otherwise Tree of Perditionand Doran, the Siege Tower look like decent upgrades. Also consider upgrading lands to a combination of fast lands, fetches, and shocks. I'm sure this deck is budget though, but it looks really fun and surprisingly fast. With how much cheap removal modern has Heroic Intervention and things to help deal with spell deck matchups like control and storm.

Personally I am a huge fan of Enigma Drake in these sort of decks. It doesn't require you to cast spells after you play it. It is just always huge if you have them in the graveyard. This means it is pretty reliable as a strong finisher game one without any graveyard hate coming in. You can top-deck it and it will still be huge.

I'm sure you just forgot basics or something, but you only have 2 lands and 63 cards in the 99.

I mostly agree, but I do like Settle the Wreckage a lot in aggro matchups. They lose can lose a lot of tempo because of it and in a deck with this many unblockable creatures they can lose on the back swing if I can play an anthem card. I think I just need more removal in general. I added Dusk / Dawn for all the popular(Sultai and Temur Energy and God-Pharaoh's Gift ) midrange decks and added Cast Out also for midrange. I would run Fumigate, but it feels a little wrong for this deck since I have no strong finishing creatures other than maybe Angel of Invention and also no great way to refill my board.Authority of the Consuls already provides me with a good sideboard life gain card for Esper/Orzhov Tokens and Ramunap Red.
I feel like if I want a flying lifelinker and I am in white I might as well run Aerial Responder over Aethersphere Harvester, but if I had more 1 drops and less 2 drops I would agree more with the choice.
I do feel like I could go up on lands to 24 for consistency, but for now 22 has been working and I would really prefer drawing action later in the game. So, at least for now I am just going to rely on luck for some good draws. I really wish the Azorius fast lands were in standard right now. The current duels are not good for aggro.
