The issue with have is his lack of black tbh. He is a solid high tide deck, and can storm off with decent consistency, but without an expansive tutor package and no access to more solid creature removal (toxic deluge and friends) he can struggle against stax and tax, and can't rush to his finishes as quickly. Vendillion clique is not that good in multiplayer, at all. Again, their reach is limited due to being mono u, but they have another glaring weakness. Reactive counter Control in multiplayer requires a massive draw engine. Every time you counter a spell, you essentially go down 3 cards in advantage to stop one spell (you now have less cards in your hand against 3 players, instead of one. Damia sage of stone is the only reactive control deck I like, because she keeps your hand nice and fat. Mono u reactive control really isn't a good deck in multiplayer cedh. I'm not saying counterspells are bad, but counterspells.dec usually is.

TronIsloveTronislife pretty much, her and tana head a 4c deck called blood pod, which is just a very efficient drop u shell. tymna gives good card draw if you need it, and tanas dudes can be used to help fuel the draw, or to start birthing pod chains. They just fill out the deck better than saskia\ravos tan

palmerb2 i have a barebones list but it has some sub optimal silver bullets and combos (as was discussed here), you can use it as a starting point. posting it here in case anyone wants to make a decent list, or put this bad one up Ferngully, Titania combo

Lilbrudder it isnt just the competitive vs uncompetitive things, some of the higher tiered decks literally dont have a density of cards with enough value/the abilty for jeleva (to want) to hit. also, i never said for rev to replace his general, and even if i did, it wouldnt be "insulting". im mainly saying that kess is better overall (glad you agree), and we can now evaluate jeleva outside of the guise of "happens to be the best current storm commander".

Lilbrudder that is essentially what you said. "In casual circles Jelly is super inconsistent and somewhat terrible. In compertive games, most decks will give her free gas and free gas is incredible for storm." that is called inconsistency. "Kess will likely expand grixis archetypes and take a good proportion of Jellybeans pie, but she will not simply replace her." that literally translates into ". . . kess will do most of what jeleva did, and more. . .". anyway, when people start brewing kess more heavily we can evaluate both better with less hype.

n0bunga rip, meant that for AlwaysSleepy. Lilbrudder so you are saying kess will do most of what jeleva did, and more, while being a more consistent card overall. i'm pretty sure that's grounds for superiority. no one is saying that kess will obsolete jeleva. but if you would look at tasigur, you would notice he is weaker than thras if only due to a lower cmc with less inputs and being a COLORLESS sink, as well as allowing for a partner to thin the deck by 1. jeleva has some serious downsides needing to stick needing to attack, the chance of exiling a card you really need without a way to reuse it and more easily removed because of worse stats. jeleva just inst as good as kess in general, you can debate if she needs to be dropped to reflect this, but kess really is a stronger card to have in the command zone.

n0bunga the reason for placeholders (with jeleva being the only real one, kek) is because grixis storm isn't a card you can put on this list. she was the most relevant storm general in grixis so she was used to head the deck. Oloro wouldn't be a placeholder for esper D-day, because we HAVE an esper D-day commander, zur. The idea of placeholder only comes into play if we have an archetype with no better commander, otherwise they are put where the general deserves to be.

Guys how is this even an argument. We've said time and time again jeleva is the most relevant PLACEHOLDER, and finally a better card comes and you hate to see her go. Kess is literally a little yawgy every turn and you guys still think jeleva can compete? She can reuse yawgy and past in flames cheaper with her ability too. Don't be biased just because jeleva is a long-standing holder of her spot, she is basically a draw spell to get you back in the game, which kess can be too.

send the deck through and start bare bones, i play sydri pretty expansively, so i can offer card knowledge and tips. just use some t5 uw comm as a placeholder

Noctem you don't win off of a rebounded second sun ever anyway, the card is incapable of rebounding. It's more likely you cast it uncounterable then mystical tutor to fetch it and a take an extra turn spell. The point is that he !removes counterplay from other decks and give you an easy way to re dig it.

Marisol + Havengul Lich + Mana Echoes with Crosis's Attendant exiled under mari = infinite casts and etbs. Any additional wizards causes infinite colorless mana. Marisol with Arcanis the Omnipotent and Horseshoe Crab is u draw 3 every turn. Most of the blue kraj interactions work with him. Cool dude, probably my next deck t3

Essentially All the sac pirates, plenty of rocks, stax staples, strionic resonator and then standard staples for WU. Check the tier 1.5 lists and view the brago deck list provided there.

Edgar Markov was almost great, but he says when you cast. Otherwise he would have been the defacto nim death!antler commander.
