Yes, my meta here plays a lot of Merfolk in Modern.

I am running a janky U/W deck that can be found here: U/W Conscriptions.

I seem to have a very hard time against merfolk. What are some good cards that are U/W that I can throw into my sideboard that will help me out in the Merfolk matchups?

I enjoy Ready / Willing in my mainboard because it provides a really nice blocking trick and G/W is all about it's combat/block tricks. I like Mortal's Resolve , but I hate that it only provides indestructibility for only one creature. In a control match up, I will usually have 2 or 3 creatures on the board when they cast a Supreme Verdict . Maybe Rootborn Defenses could go to the sideboard and I can run 2 Mortal's Resolve in the mainboard since it will help with the removal based decks like mono-black. hmmmm....

If I were to add Loxodon Smiter I would probably add it to my mainboard and not my sideboard. My sideboard already has everything I want in it for most of my LGS's meta. Adding Loxodon Smiter to my sideboard would just mean I would lose important cards for other matchups. Besides, I already have enough cards in my sideboard to go up against Esper without much issue. As far as adding Loxodon Smiter to my mainboard, I wouldn't know what to take out. I would probably take out Ready / Willing if I had to. Unfortunatly, that would mean I would have to added them to my sideboard which would mean I would have to take out 2 important cards from my sideboard that I need against other matchups.
