Welcome to my lair.

I mostly play Commnader, but I do enjoy casual "Kitchen Table" Magic from time to time.

In Commander, I prefer to play at Focused and Optimized Power Levels. Jank and Precon decks can be fun to play with in the right company, but to me, the best games are the ones where all decks at the table have a clear strategy, and can consistently accomplish it. This creates an environment where victory is determined by player's skills and a bit of luck. I also enjoy reading about Competitive Commander (cEDH) and watching highly experienced players test their skills against eachother, though I don't play competitively myself. The cEDH meta is extremely well defined, which leaves a lot less room for experimentation and unusual strategies compared to the other Power Levels.

Highly competitive 60-card formats tend to optimize the fun out of the game, which is why I don't usually compete in tournaments or build decks for these formats. Most of my casual 60-card decks are technically legal in Modern format, and those that aren't usually have a "Sideboard" that can be used to replace the illegal cards.
