Games, OH how I love games!

My first TCG was Pokemon when i was very young, until the school's banned them and friend's lost interest. I still have my collection.

My next TCG was Yu-Gi-Oh! I was older now in my teens. I bought starter decks at first then learning rules and strategies I built my own decks until my friends could not beat me anymore. Went to tournaments at the local Toys-R-Us for prises and making friends. My mother supported my hobby, bringing me to Flea Markets every sunday where there was a Yu-Gi-Oh! card dealer. I also played the variations of the game like Dungeon Dice monsters. Though my friends lost interest in Yu-Gi-Oh!

During the days of Yu-Gi-Oh! a new game came out called Duel Masters. It didnt last very long but I loved the ideas of it. Later did I realize it was designed close to MTG but still appeal to the younger crowd who were into Yu-Gi-Oh! All my cards were lost in the washer...Still regret that would love to play again.

The next game that basically died when it started because no one else played was Zatch Bell TCG. It used a book as your hand to cast spells like in the cartoon series. I had two starter decks so I could play with a friend....noone cared D:. I still have them

One day a friend of mine brought me to a little gaming shop. They sold MTG cards and I was a little iffy on it. I knew about the game but I always thought it was something very complicated that older people used to play. But he showed me how to play and it was pretty easy to figure out. I bought a Lilliana Vess Intro Starter Deck. And one of the players from the store gave me a free Lilliana Vess Planeswalker for my deck.

Didn't exactly have friends lose interest in the game but rather i moved away and my only friend who played now lived too far away.

few years pass and on xbox live my friends start playing the MTG games in the marketplace. I told them I used to play. My new friend now brings me to a comic book store that I frequent regularly. Here I built a deck completely from scratch. Realized the way I love to play is Green, my favorite color in MTG.

My friend and I were new to deck building and weren't good in any sense of the word. But the more we played together the more we browsed the cards the better we got. We developed our skills quickly. My friend developed much faster building decks for instant win combos, such a control player. And I, playing mainly aggro I build decks that are fun to play as something for casual play.

Now here I am, an average player addicted to gaming. Growing stronger the more I play, so you better watch out for BigD in the world of Magic!
