Really? I thought they just disappeared from the game entirely. In which case, I'd say that it's definately worth playing.
I still think you need more than 1 Eldrazi in your deck though.

Interesting deck, I definately like Raid Bombardment with the Eldrazi spawn for a surprisingly large amount of damage.
I'm not sure Hissing Iguanar is of any use to you though, since the spawn tokens don't go into the graveyard upon death but are simply destroyed. Emrakul's Hatcher instead maybe? I'd try to find a way of running more Eldrazi though.. remove Sarkhan in favor of an extra Emrakul, the Aeons Torn and then maybe 2x Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre.

Gotta agree that Rest for the Weary has gotta be a lifesaver for this deck, but I do think Manabarbs would be an excellent way to get to exactly what you want to. Have you considering using Silence as well?
In my imagining, you'd play Silence on your opponents turn (upkeep, probably) and then tap the exact amount of mana you need to damage yourself to win during their end step.
This way you ensure that they can't suddenly mess up your plans with a Lightning Bolt, since they can only cast once your upkeep has begun, and by that point you've already won (since Near Death Experience's condition is at the beginning of your upkeep). Even if they Bolt in response to the Silence, you just tap less mana during their end step.

Hmmm true, but no way to counter Blightnings could become problematic if I'm holding onto my few removal cards! I sure would hate if someone fired off a Thought Hemorrhage or Sadistic Sacrament and removed all my Eldrazi creatures!
Do love the Perimiter Captain/Wall of Denial combo though, <3 anything that has enough health to not be vulnerable to a Lightning Bolt. Wonder if Mnemonic Wall would be too expensive to be practical..

Tasty! Just wondering if Spreading Seas would be better than Tectonic Edge simply for the card advantage it gives? Also maybe swap Essence Scatter for Negate or perhaps even Hindering Light since there's creature removal in the form of Path to Exile and Oblivion Ring but no counter spells?

Considered Harm's Way?

Maybeboard is just the old version of this deck I was using.

I don't suppose Joraga Warcaller could have a place in this deck?

I mostly agree with you merubhanot, in fact I'd just not remembered to sideboard the Mark of Asylums on the website! However, I've found Sejiri Steppe to be pretty useful because I can drop it, and then give my Kabira Evangel protection, and then play my creature.
All the frigging time I get enemies who are just killing my Kabira Evangel before his trigger resolves, and Sejiri Steppe gives me an alternate way to keep him going.
It's also proven pretty useful if I just want to engage in lulz swinging with an oversized Kazandu Blademaster, and against multicolour decks I can shut-out specific coloured creatures and almost force my enemies to block with stuff they didn't want to.

If you have one in an opening hand, it's usually a case of playing it on Turn 4 just for the +1/+1, but I've actually gotten some use out of them being kicked (only once, usually) which is nice because it triggers the ally-entering-the-battlefield abilities (so lots of things end up getting +2/+2, essentially). Think they might be a bit so/so still though.
I'm tempted to drop both the Marshal's Anthems, 1 Kabira Evangel, 1 Join the Ranks, and then add 3x Mark of Asylum and an extra 1x Harm's Way or Brave the Elements. I've found noncombat damage is the only way people can deal with my allies (even death-touchers can be beaten down by first strike!) and it means I don't have to waste a Brave the Elements on a Lightning Bolt and save them for better things like Terminate since the Mark of Asylum will cover all my creatures.
