My first time playing Magic in a place other than my tabletop was with my friends at Role of the Die in a draft of Innistrad. It was a very fun night, but I didn't entirely grasp draft, but I learned quick with my friend's help. Eventually, I integrated myself into my friend's group and played one of the sickest cubes to this day. I learned a lot about magic from those guys, but eventually things broke up. Ben moved on to break up his cube and sell/trade it away for money for school and Power Nine pieces. Matt moved to Florida to go to college. Today I try to play the same way they did, with open arms to the community and learning.
