Thraben Inspector is alright in this deck but I think that you would have a much better time increasing the number of removal spells or Heart of Kiran.

I always have an issue casting Anguished Unmaking in an aggressive match and considering most matches are fast, it may be a better sideboard card, even though it is my favorite spell in standard.

Also, you may benefit from some card draw or some sort of card advantage. Painful Truths, Succumb to Temptation, or even Live Fast.

Personally, I would cut the Grasp of Darkness in favor for an additional To the Slaughter and Collective Brutality.

Walking Ballista in this deck has little to no place at all. The only way to add more counters is with his own ability and it just doesn't help the deck out enough. I would suggest a card that helps you get delirium or benefits from delirium. Mindwrack Demon saves itself to Heart of Kiran so he is an option. Grim Flayer is just stupid in this deck as it is basically a scry on hit and is a 2 drop 4/4 so if you are going for a value creature deck, as you said you wanted a 50/50 spells and creatures deck, I would suggest him or even Sylvan Advocate. Finally, Gnarlwood Dryad is a great one mana defense that benefits from delirium.

The traverses can allow you to run 2 of creatures you want to see so you don't have to cut many spells at all to add these cards in.

With the vast amount of planeswalkers that you are running, Heart of Kiran would be devestating to your opponents in the deck.

Oath of Liliana usually doesn't perform as well as you would like, from experience.

Gideon, Ally of Zendikar is a win more card usually in the deck, but it has its uses with heart because swinging a 4/4 and 5/5 for free each turn is ridiculous.

@prodigy77 im ecstatic to hear that it worked so well for you! So the Fiery Temper was never a dead card in hand? I used to use it in correlation with Tormenting Voice but changed to shock worrying Nahiri was not enough for discard.

As for the heart of kiran, I stand by hating vehicles with a passion so I wanted to make a deck that didn't use them, but I understand the power it brings to the table.

I'm sure you're still working on a sideboard but another infuriating card is Lost Legacy

I actually have two separate decks that have Angels in them. One is a Mardu Angels deck and another is a Mardu improvise deck. You can check both of them out here. Both run very smoothly and have great early game.

Mardu Angels: Angels of Lost Hope

Mardu Improvise: Improvising the Revolt

@Geo67 yes of course there are other ways. You could use Thalia, Heretic Cathar, Authority of the Consuls, or any controlling kill spells such as Declaration in Stone or Radiant Flames.
