Clever Impersonator could be another way to get more Master Biomancers out. Plaxcaster Frogling could be used to protect your creatures as well as divy out some counters before you get a Master Biomancer out. And Fathom Mage can help you dig through your deck.

Thorbogl thanks! ya this deck was originally started as a budget deck back when the main focus was around Ooze Flux. It's kind of evolved since then. I'll probably remove the budget from it because ya... its not so cheap anymore. But it once was a $30 deck in its original glory!
Intruder Alarm was once in the running for this deck but it didnt give me much of a lead or speed things up too much. Having 15 20/20 servos is just as hard to block as having 30 20/20 servos so it ended up being more of a "win more" card or a "win with flare" card rather than an "oil the machine" card.

I've been fine tuning my deck Clockwork Mutants for a long time now and it's been slowly evolving. (hehe... puns) A quick run down of the deck is to get counters on creatures to trigger Animation Module and use a ever increasing Gyre Sage to generate mana to put out tons of 1/1 Servo tokens.
The problem I'm having right now is that Master Biomancer has a CMC of 4 which is like tapping the brakes in this deck. He makes me slow down a bit..... but he also enables exponentially larger creatures to come into play. It really gets ridiculous how large of creatures I can get out for one mana with him.... but is this overkill? Would it be better for me to use Zameck Guildmage to enable some more draw and to be a third in the set of Hardened Scales and Metallic Mimic?
If I replaced Master Biomancer with Zameck Guildmage i'm a little afraid that the deck would hit a plateau. Right now I can make 10+ 15/15 servo tokens on a good set up but I'm concerned that this change would make it be more like ~5 4/4 servo token, but it would be more reliable and quicker.
Master Biomancer easily enables Renegade Krasis to evolve with each servo that comes into play which makes for INSANE creature growth. Zameck Guildmage can remove counters from him for draw but its not as mana efficient as Master Biomancer.
I'm not a super competitive player, but my play group does play modern which is why I made this deck so I don't know all the ins and outs of modern.
I don't know... haha. I've hit a "creative" dead-end with this deck. Yet I still feel that something else can be improved....

This deck has consumed my mind for a very long time haha. It gets really tough to keep track of every single thing that happens when you get it working. It is a very fun deck though.

Oh ya... That was printed in eternal not modern masters. Splashing a bit of blue for fabricate might be best then. The journal way just has a lot of requirements too work and the inventors fair requires too many things to work.
Fabricate also gets it into your hand rather than on top of your deck

I totally forgot Enlightened Tutor was a card... That's in your colors and solves the problem :D
I was thinking Fabricate for blue but the enlightened tutor is way better

The journal is just too much mana to get out then 3 more turns to get the clues.
All the ideas I've thought about would require you splashing some blue but one that doesn't require blue would be using the Inventors' Fair. You would also use Inkmoth Nexus, Blinkmoth Nexus or Hangarback Walker to help get the required artifacts. All those also make great chump blockers or little annoying pokers.

Haha! It is a good looking deck. I just saw 4 dolls and the Myth Realized, which you can't really enchant, and was wondering how you planned on killing them before turn 15.

What tutor gives you an artifact creature? I must be missing it

Does this deck just hide from everyone until you draw a "Barbie doll"?

I don't usually follow card prices too closely but was looking at adding 4x Metallic Mimics to a deck of mine. I thought that the price of $8 each was kind of high but in the past day its risen to $14?
I don't follow pro tour or "net decks" at all, whats causing it to sky rocket so much?
