Zombie infestation and discard madness interaction

If I have out a Zombie Infestation out, and i have one card with Madness in hand and no other cards, would i still be able to discard my one card to infestation and not receive a token just to send my madness card the the graveyard to activate its trigger.
Basically can i send a single card to the graveyard using Zombie without actually activating zombie
Sorry, but I must agree with Drilnoth. You cannot. Infestation says clearly: 'two cards discarded -> activate this effect' The fact this one card has 'Madness' is irrelevant. So, nop...

No. You cannot cast a spell or activate an ability unless you can pay its entire cost. If you only have one card in hand, you cannot discard two cards to pay the cost, and therefore cannot pay it at all.
