Would a Strionic Resonator cause Yidris to cause your spells to Cascade 3 or 4 times if he has double-strike?

Say I have a Strionic Resonator on the battlefield and a Yidris, Maelstrom Wielder is swinging in at an opponent with double strike, I activate the Strionic Resonator targeting Yidris' triggered ability upon dealing combat damage.

I believe I can only target one instance of the two times Yidris' ability would be triggered, causing spells I cast from my hand to gain three instances of cascade. Is that right?

You would be correct.

Note that since there are two combat damage steps if a creature with first or double strike is in combat, Yidris' ability will trigger and resolve during the first strike damage step and during the regular damage step. They won't be on the stack at the same time, so you would either copy it before or after normal combat damage is dealt.
