Will Nissa, Who Shakes the World static ability work if you tap Temple Garden for a white mana

Whenever a card references forest, mountain, plains, swamp, or island, that card is actually referring to the subtype in a cards text box. So yes, any land that has the subtype forest will work in your scenario. The distinction here is that the ability doesn't ask specifically for a basic forest. This is the same reason why a Wooded Foothills can grab a Temple Garden , but an Evolving Wilds can only grab basic lands.

Doesn't specifically ask for a basic Forest, nor does it specifically say "whenever you tap a Forest for ."
As long as the card has "Forest" on the type line and you tap it for mana, Nissa will add .

Yes, Temple Garden counts as either a Plains or a Forest, or both.
