When the turn is ended by a spell or ability what happens to spells or abilitys on the stack?

I am working on a Gifts Rites Tron deck and want to use Day's Undoing to keep Emrakule in my graveyard is this possible?

Also, Day's Undoing's effect requires that you shuffle your hand and graveyard into your library, so anything in your graveyard will be gone anyway.

But Time Stop or Sundial of the Infinite would work for the purpose you are describing.

Day's Undoing has reminder text that answers this question exactly.
"(Exile all spells and abilities on the stack, including this card. Discard down to your maximum hand size. Damage wears off, and "this turn" and "until end of turn" effects end.)"
Of course, Day's Undoing is a sorcery, so you can't cast it in response to Emrakul, the Aeons Torn's ability.
