When does the annihilator trigger?

I was wondering if I am attacking alone with a creature and I have Sovereigns of Lost Alara on the field. If I search for Eldrazi Conscription am I able to trigger the annihilator or not?

An ability that triggers "When/whenever [some creature] attacks" triggers when it's declared as an attacker. The ability of Sovereigns of Lost Alara triggers when you declare your attacker, so by the time Eldrazi Conscription is actually on the creature it's past the point where Annihilator would be able to trigger. Your newly enormous trampling creature is still pretty good, so I wouldn't worry too much about not getting Annihilator this turn.
