What happens to a creature that gets cast with an Evoke cost and then gains Undying?

After it gets sacrificed, would it return as a normal permanent with a +1/+1 counter, perform its ETB effect again, and remain after end of turn? Or does it still have to go as soon as it comes?
Either way a strong combo for double kills via Undying Evil and Shriekmaw while Quest for the Gravelord is out.

It stays on the battlefield.
When it comes back from the graveyard, it's a new permanent, with no memory of whether or not you payed for it with it's evoke cost.
