What formats, if any, would the following combo be playable in?

Butcher Ghoul, Hex Parasite, Culling the Weak, (Infinite mana combo)

Culling the Weak is not Modern or Frontiers legal, so that takes those out.
Hex Parasite is Rare, so that takes out Pauper.

Although, I don't see the infinite mana here. Culling the Weak is an instant.
You would cast it, sacrifice the Ghoul, have it come back with undying, then use the Parasite to remove the counter... Then it stops.

10/4/2004 You sacrifice a creature when casting the spell and you cant sacrifice more than one creature to get extra mana.
4/15/2013 You must sacrifice exactly one creature to cast this spell; you cannot cast it without sacrificing a creature, and you cannot sacrifice additional creatures.
4/15/2013 Players can only respond once this spell has been cast and all its costs have been paid. No one can try to destroy the creature you sacrificed to prevent you from casting this spell

Culling the Weak is an instant. That isn't an infinite mana combo.

Even with Panoptic Mirror it is not infinite. Mirror only makes one more copy per turn, during your upkeep.

Okay, you've upped it to a 2-3 extra mana during each of your upkeep combo, and eliminated Commander and tiny leaders as formats. Anything else you want to do to make this infinite?

You're better off doing this:
Butcher Ghoul + Phyrexian Altar + Something to remove the +1/+1 counter freely each time.

(Tiny Leaders is out because the CMC of Mirror is and Tiny Leaders has a max CMC of .)
