Vigor with Bonfire of the Damned

If my opponent controls Vigor and other creatures, if I Bonfire of the Damned for 6, would all his creature but Vigor get 6 counters or will his death prevent that?
at the time Bonfire of the Damned do the damage to player, it deals to Vigor, and each creature that player control, so when the damage is dealt, the effect of replacement from Vigor will still work, each creature will get X counters, and Vigor will die...

All the damage is dealt simultaneously. Vigor will still be on the battlefield when damage is dealt, so its replacement effect will still apply.
