triggers on the stack

if I have Hazoret's Favor and Yasova Dragonclaw can I trigger it so I gain control of a creature and then Hazoret's Favor it so it will die before returning to my opponent?

No.
Both abilities trigger at the same time, so you can chose how to put them onto the stack. For what you want to do, you would place Yasova's trigger at the top.
Here is the catch: If an ability requires a target (as Hazoret's Favor does), you have to chose a legal target as you put the ability on the stack, similar to casting a spell. There is no point in time where you can let Yasova's ability resolve to gain control of an opposing creature and chose that as target for the Favor.
