trample, deathtouch and Embermaw Hellion

lets say i have a Embermaw Hellionand a red creature with trample and deathtouch. when i attack with that red creature and it becomes blocked by a few creatures. normally it would deal 1 to each (lethal via deathtouch) and rest to my opponent. but in this case does it deal 0 damage to each creature(with embermaw 0 becomes 1 and is lethal) and all of its power to my opponent no matter what. is that correct?

Also, if something would deal 0 damage, it doesn't deal damage. Embermaw's ability won't increase 0 damage to 1 damage.

No.
You must actually assign lethal damage to blockers in order to assign any damage to the defending player. This process doesn't care about other effects that change the amount of damage actually dealt, so the bonus damage granted by Embermaw Hellion's ability won't factor into the damage assignment process.
