Trail of Mystery multiple stacking

Asked by Davidawg 9 years ago

My question is, if I have 2 or more Trail of Mystery in game, when either of its effects are activated, will they activate for each enchantment I have in game?

Example: I have 2 Trail of Mystery in game and I turn a creature face up, will that creature get +4/+4 until the end of turn after resolving the triggered effects?

Would it be for both effects? Also, would it be the same for Secret Plans?

Thanks,

Yes, the effects are cumulative for both cards. You will get 2 triggers, with 2 +2/+2 effects when you flip over a facedown card.

Yes. Each Trail of Mystery triggers separately and gives the creature +2/+2, for a total of +4/+4 if you have two. Similarly, when you play a morph, you will search your library for two lands (or, to be exact, search for a land, shuffle, the search for another land, then shuffle).

Secret Plans is the same. Every permanent you turn face up will draw you two cards because there are two separate triggers, one for each Secret Plans.

Neither of Trail of Mystery's abilities ever activate. They're triggered abilities; they trigger when the specified event occurs. Activated abilities must be manually activated.
