Timestream Navigator's ability effected by summoning sickness?

Is Timestream Navigator 's extra turn ability effected by summoning sickness? If it had the tap symbol first I'd think no but the commas are confusing me. Thanks!

Timestream Navigator will need haste to activate it's ability, you are correct that it is because of the . The commas there are to indicate to you that the cost is a list of , , and putting Timestream Navigator on the bottom of your library. This is just like how the cost to get a card with Evolving Wilds is to tap it and sacrifice it. The commas are simply there to signal that there is a list. I hope I have been of some assistance, I can explain further if need be.

If there is a or in the cost at all, whether or not there are commas or where the symbol falls in the cost, then it is affected by summoning sickness. It doesn't matter if the symbol is first, last, or in the middle.

Just to add to what the guys said. The fact that mana cost is written before the tap symbol is just the style of Magic pretty much from the very beginning.

Also the basic principle is this: Everything written before the colon (:) is considered the cost of an ability, while the text after the colon (:) is the effect. In this case is part of the activation cost and unless you can give Timestream Navigator haste or have Thousand-Year Elixir on the board, you'd have to have controlled Timestream Navigator from the start of your turn to be able to tap it.
