Stuffy Doll and lifelink

If i attack my opponent with Ajani's Sunstriker and he blocks with Stuffy Doll and i have 1 life, will i die or will i gain 2 then lose 2 at the same time causing 0 life to lose/gain?

Although, if you're at 1 life and Stuffy Doll is untapped to block your opponent can just use its activated ability and kill you before combat damage.

Alright thanks, was just wondering how it would work out. The one life was just a number i came up with for easy math for everybody.

You will survive. Lifelink is a static ability, meaning you gain the life when the creature does the damage. Stuffy Doll's ability is a triggered ability that must use the stack. You will have 3 life and Stuffy Doll will deal 2 damage to you.
702.15a Lifelink is a static ability.
702.15b Damage dealt by a source with lifelink causes that sources controller, or its owner if it has no controller, to gain that much life (in addition to any other results that damage causes). See rule 119.3.
