Spirit Mantle + Magus of the Disk

I have Graceblade Artisan enchanted with Spirit Mantle and my opponent uses Magus' ability. Does it destroy both my creature and the enchantment or just the enchantment?It's not the question about whether the effect applies to the creature first rather than the enchantment, but if protection from creatures protects my Artisan from this ability.

Protection only prevents the permanent from being dealt damage, enchanted, blocked or targeted (commonly remembered by the DEBT acronym). Nothing will prevent your creature from being destroyed here, as Magus's ability doesn't try to target your Artisan.
