Sphere of Saftey Including "enters tapped and attacking"

A situation occurred. We're debating about sphere of saftey, and the ability of Geist of Saint Traft .
Say i pay the X for the Geist of Saint Traft , when Sphere of Safety triggers. Then Geist of Saint Traft 's ability triggers, Do i have to pay the X again for the Angel token?

You do not. Sphere of Safety (and cards like it, like Propaganda ) only applies when a player wants to declare a creature as attacking. The angel token was never declared as attacking, so it isn't subject to it.
