Spell Queller Processor combo.

Asked by BaronBrademon 7 years ago

If a 'processor' was to process an opponents spell that was in exile due to a Spell Queller. Would the opponent still be able to cast the spell without paying its mana cost upon removal of said queller?

No. When the card is proceased it changes zones. This almost always breaks the link with whatever effect put it in that zone to begin with. When spell queller dies it looks for the spell it put into exile and finds that it isn't there. The opponent is not able to cast it.

Refer to rule 400.7 - the relationship that card had to spell queller no longer exists.
