Soul Tithe vs Enchantment - Aura

Asked by ME4Twaffle 9 years ago

My friend has never run across this card before. I have a Shivan Dragon on the battlefield. He attached Brink of Disaster to it. I attached Soul Tithe to Brink of Disaster . He doesn't think I can do that, because he argues he can't just "sac an enchantment". There are no official rulings on Gatherer, so I just need a second opinion. Thanks!

You can sacrifice any permanent you control so long as you are prompted to by a cost or by the effect or a spell or ability. What you can't do is sacrifice something for no reason.

Any permanent can be sacrificed, whether it is an enchantment, land, creature or anything else.

Thanks, guys! That's how I made him play it. I thought it was pretty obvious, but it always helps to have backup! :)
