Soul Tithe cost

The text on Soul Tithe says, "he or she pays ... its converted mana cost", so does that mean the enchanted permanent's CMC can be paid as if it were colorless?

Essentially. A card's "converted mana cost" (cmc) is the total amount of mana in its mana cost as a single number (for example, Agent of Erebos has a cmc of 4). Soul Tithe requires a payment of X mana, where X is that card's CMC. So, if you enchant Agent of Erebos with Soul Tithe, the Agent's controller must pay 4 mana to avoid sacrificing it. This mana can be of any color (or colorless), because converted mana cost does not include color. So, they could keep the Agent by paying 2 red and 2 green mana, even though they wouldn't be able to cast the Agent with that mana.

CMC is always a colorless quantity.
