Snapcaster Mage and Spell Burst

If I use Snapcaster Mage to recast a Spell Burst can I buy it back?

You can pay the buyback cost because it's an additional cost, but you won't get the Spell Burst back. Part of flashback's rules text states that the spell is exiled if it would leave the stack.
