Silence Resolve?

Asked by JRobot 9 years ago

When does Silence resolve and how do I know, also if I play it at the begining of my opponents turn what can they do before it resolves?

Link all cards in your question.
Silence

Silence is like any other spell. It only resolves when it is the topmost object on the stack and all players pass priority in succession without placing a new object on the stack. Players can respond by activating activated abilities or casting instants or spells with flash.

The earliest you can play Silence on any one turn is the upkeep step (players don't get priority during the untap step). Remember that any spells cast before Silence resolves will still resolve normally. Silence doesn't retroactively undo a cast, nor does it counter anything.
