Shirei, Shizo's Caretaker + Skullclamp

I am not sure how this works:
Shirei, Shizo's Caretaker on the battlefield along with a random 1/1 (let's take Hex Parasite) creature equipped with Skullclamp.
Hex Parasite becomes a 2/0 and dies due to having a thoughness of 0. When he dies, the Skullclamp remains on the battlefield unequipped, so my question is:
Will Hex Parasite hit my graveyard as a 2/0 or a 1/1 (and therefore get's back EOT due to Shirei, Shizo's Caretaker ?

From Gatherer:

Shirei's ability only triggers if the creature's power immediately before leaving the battlefield is 1 or less.

Damn, stupid me. I was checking equipment rulings instead of just checking Shirei ;)
