Sanctum Seeker and "a vampire"

Does Sanctum Seeker effect of losing life when a vampire attacks take one life for each Vampire that is attacking or once for any number of vampires that attack per turn.

It triggers on each vampire that attacks. It would need to say whenever one or more vampires attack...for it to trigger just once.
