Regenerating a sacrifice?

Asked by iomega801 8 years ago

I was playing with friends, and using my sac deck. One of the creatures I was using was Kin-Tree Warden, which I sacrificed to buff my Nantuko Husk. I then regenerated Kin-Tree, but my friends said I couldn't. Just wondering if that's the case, or my friends just didn't want me getting a good combo

You cannot do that. Regeneration will only save a creature from effects that would destroy it (ie Supreme Verdict, Doom Blade, or lethal damage marked on it, etc...).

Since sacrifice does not count as destroying a creature, regeneration will not save your creature.
