Rapid hybridization and sage of hours

Hi everyone. I just want to ask, if I cast Rapid Hybridization on Sage of Hours with existing 4 +1/+1 counter on, will it receive another +1/+1/ counter from heroic and activate it's ability and have extra turn before it dies? Thanks

Yes. Heroic triggers when you ca st a spell, and will resolve before the spell itself. You can then activate the Sage's ability before it is destroyed.

Note the text for heroic: "cast a spell that targets". So, as soon as you target the sage, it gains the counter, and abilities can be activated at any time, even before the spell resolves.
