Question about Crucible of the Spirit Dragon

Can you tap more then 1 mana during a turn to put X amount of counters on Crucible of the Spirit Dragon or is it just (1) mana per turn

My opinion for any color mana sources, I would refer to Prismatic Omen, Chromatic Lantern and Cryptolith Rite (depends on how many creatures you play).
Ofcourse if you're seeking to make your deck consistent, the question I should ask you is what your budget range is.
Because if you'd like to optimize your consistency of your mana base, you should be playing some fetch lands, shock lands or original dual lands, some of the any color lands like Command Tower and also ramp cards will help you get what you need like Cultivate.
As for now I don't know what else to say because I do have no clue what deck you're planning to build ofcourse. Everything depends on what your budget is, what power tier you're aiming for (casual/mid power/high power/competitive) and ofcourse what type of deck you're building along with what you'd want it to be able to do.

To activate that ability you'll have to pay , for it's cost. Unless you have other abilities that can have you untap Crucible of the Spirit Dragon, you won't be able to activate that ability again that turn.
In other words no, it's not like you pay the in exchange for the storage counter, you pay the to activate the ability that happens to put a storage counter onto it.
